Jazz SCMEA solo with Darmon Meader

Tyler and fellow students selected for Jazz SCMEA had the honor of working with Jazz professor, Vocalist, Saxophonist, Composer and Arranger Darmon Meader for over a week on a range of Jazz repertoire including “Orange Colored Sky”, “You Take Me Away” as well as some of his original pieces to be performed for the Jazz SCMEA conference. Darmon selected Tyler to perform the solo in “You Take Me Away” by Carole Welsman—here is a video of her performance:
